Violante & Rochford, a Santa Fe, New Mexico based interior design firm work extensively throughout the United States. Consisting of Michael Violante and Paul Rochford, the duo, who is also a married couple, offer full-service interior design services, from traditional to contemporary and specialize in modernizing Southwest homes!
Using their combined experience of 38 years, Michael and Paul always design homes that reflect the personalities of their clients and execute their visions flawlessly. Their distinctive style often uses art as a focal point for projects, and employs neutral palettes with bold but chic pops of color. They are lovers of light, nature, open spaces, grand vistas and mixing antique pieces with new items and artworks.
Throughout their photos you will notice how they aren’t afraid to mix patterns to pull off that unique and one of a kind look. They almost always use rugs as well which adds style, color, and texture as again, the pattern will be varying but complimentary to the rest of the room.
“We want to help create a home that is unique to the individual. Not having a formula for any one project – each is a one of a kind place – specific to the tastes and needs of the people we often have the good fortune to nor only call clients – but good friends.” Many are clients on more than one project.
Their motto: “Experience heartfelt design service that will exceed your expectations. We specialize in residential, commercial, hospitality and offer continued service, room by room or whole house.”
The duo has a brand new retail shop, which also houses their design office and beautifully curated showroom. Located in a historic Santa Fe Arts and Crafts home, the shop is adorned with unique gifts, covetable art, and eclectic treasures from all over the world.

Love these rooms! Would you have any idea where I might find the gold and white comforter in the bedroom pic? Absolutely love it, but canโt find anything like it anywhere.
Hi Diane! Thanks for the comment. I agree, that comforter is beautiful. We found a similar one on Wayfair — check it out via our affiliate link here: https://rstyle.me/n/cvvzqwn2ge
