‘Tis the season for fireworks and barbecues! Between Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day, my favorite way to commemorate the summer holiday season is with some good grilled food followed by fireworks with my favorite people.
Patriotic Printable Party Pack

How to Assemble Printable Cupcake Toppers and Firecracker Party Favors
This printable patriotic party pack is fairly easy to assemble, but we walk you through it so you can get it just right.

Cupcake Toppers (page 1)
For the cupcake toppers, simply cut out the flag shapes, fold in half and attach a toothpick inside. You can use tape, hot glue, or whatever you have on hand.
Cake Topper (page 1)
The cake topper is even easier! Cut out the shape and attach to two sticks of some kind. We used bamboo skewers (since you might have some extras from your barbecue menu and summer burger kabobs) or you could use cute striped paper straws like these or these, lollipop sticks like these, etc.
Patriotic Bunting (page 2)
The firecracker bunting requires only cutting and stringing it up.
We used miniature clothes pins like these, we also used them for the rainbow Instagram collage to make it super quick and cute, but there are tons of options!
You could punch holes in both corners of the short end of the pennant and lace the string through or place a dab of hot glue on the back of each pennant to attach it to the string. You can also use whatever kind of string you want from cotton string, bakers’ twine, ribbon, lace, yarn, or jute twine.
Customizable Party Invitations (pages 3-4)
Let us do the work of making your party invitations! We’ve included a specific 4th of July invitation or a more general patriotic invitation, since the best summers have more than just one party!
The file is customizable, so you can open the pdf (in Adobe Reader) and fill in each form field, then simply print as many as you need.
There are four invites per page, but to make it even easier you only have to fill in the fields one time – they will automatically copy to the other invites. Or if you prefer to hand write your own information in you can just print and cut along the dotted lines.
Printable Firecracker Party Favors (page 5)
Whether you use these firecracker printables as party favors or as part of your table centerpieces, they are sure to be a hit! You can fill them with sweets or little toys and guests will be so pleased when they pull the tissue paper bottoms off to reveal their little treasures.
To assemble the firecrackers you will need the printable page plus
- scissors
- double-stick tape or glue
- a hot glue gun
- string
- white tissue paper.
After printing, cut out the parts for the firecrackers; each firecracker has a rectangle for the body and a semicircle for the cone nose.
Then, cut a piece of 4″x4″ tissue paper for each firecracker. Fold each tissue paper square in half. Take one of the rectangle printable pieces and affix the folded edge of the tissue paper to one of the long sides of the rectangle using double-stick tape or glue.
Next, roll the rectangle and attached tissue paper into a cylinder. Secure the short edges of the rectangle together using hot glue to form the cylinder.
Then tie a piece of string around the tissue paper to form the bottom of the firecracker. At this point you can fill the cylinder with candy or whatever treasures you can fit. Be sure not to overfill the cylinder since you will be putting hot glue along the top edge of the paper.
To finish the firecracker, roll a semi-circle printable piece into a cone and secure with hot glue. Then put a bead of hot glue across the top edge of the paper cylinder and attach the cone.
