Bedroom #1: Chic Tween or Teen Girl Bedroom

Tween Or Teen Girl Bedroom

This room, perfect for a tween or teen, is so unique! We love the pinstripe bedding with the fabulous wall mural.  The globe hints of glam influences and the iron bed is spot-on! What child wouldn’t be delighted by this design?  The tones are more on the muted side and this will be a room that will stand the test of time. Theme bedrooms are always a hit! Have a Star Wars fan at your house? This room is a fantastic compromise of galactic weaponry and farmhouse comfort. While Star Wars accents add a fun touch, classic farmhouse elements, like the plaid rug and white paint, give this room a timeless and not-too-trendy look. And if the last room wasn’t quite colorful enough for you, we share this kid’s bedroom by @this_e17_life! She went bold because she knew it was perfect for her child!! The bright wallpaper and hand-painted sun are so joyful! This room just makes us smile. Light colored carpet and walls really give this look a place to shine (pardon the pun).

Bedroom #6: Boho Basics for Teens and Tweens

With boho being such a big trend right now, we wanted to share this casual girl’s bedroom. Ombre curtains and paisley bedding combine to create a retreat a tween or teen would love. White walls, built-ins, and a wood ceiling give us the perfect backdrop for this boho beauty. A window seat with storage and a built-in desk provide places for homework or reading (hopefully not just the phone). The acrylic chair keeps the space from feeling too heavy.

Bedroom #7: Teal and Orange for Two

How about a coastal look? We fell in love with this shared bedroom by @coastalcraftymama!  Teal and orange with rustic wood bed frames? Where do we sign up? Aren’t the metal signs over the bed a great idea? We love how she used eclectic letters to create this look. Once again, we see neutral basics here that could be changed as kids age and interests change. Then there are those girls that love pink and unicorns and …To add character and interest, this designer used wood shakes on the wall. So cute! Matching nightstands (maybe for some storage) and lamps bring symmetry. Since the room is smaller, decor is minimal.

Bedroom #9: Rustic Farmhouse Comfort

Boys Farmhouse Bedroom

And since we don’t want to forget something with a little more masculine touch, how about this farmhouse-style bedroom? Muted colors and antique-type pictures and accents give this room a lived-in, comfortable feel. We are in love with the wood and metal beds too! Plaid bedding, horse pictures, and a farmhouse lamp are perfect for this theme. Do you have a child that would love this idea?
