6 Easy DIY Art Projects
Welcome to another month of Remodelaholics Anonymous! I can’t believe summer is already coming to an end, but at the same time, I’m excited for fall. Once again, we had SO many great projects at our link party last month! You can see all of the great ideas here, and we’ve chosen some DIY wall art ideas to highlight this month. Link up your projects below — we can’t wait to see!
And this month we’re going to try something a little different — we’ll keep the party open all month, but we’ll also post some of our favorites here on the blog every Thursday night to be our “Friday Favorites” and to remind you to come link up more great ideas! We share on Facebook and Pinterest throughout the month, so why not here, too? Spread the word and invite your friends to link up, because we LOVE all your creativity! (PS: If you have a project you’d love to see featured here, link up and then show us here, too, or show off your Remodelaholic-inspired project here. )
6 Easy DIY Art Projects
I’m a big fan of hot air balloons, and Nikki over at Sweet Parrish Place is, too — she made this cute hot air balloon wall art (and it has a story behind it, too, so it’s a double win!)
I’m also a fan of ampersands (remember this?) Something about the fun shape, and the fact that it means there is more to come! See how to make this easy wood ampersand sign over at Mommy Envy.
If you’re a fan of vintage/rustic/farmhouse — this stenciled sign from Knick of Time is perfect for decor plus organizing those measuring cups!
When you’ve found the perfect art (or printed it, free!), use this easy rustic art “frame” from A Shade of Teal to display it.
Birch trees are classic, and an easy DIY art project! See how Uncookie Cutter painted this oversized art for a big impact.
Where are my Harry Potter peeps?! My So Called DIY Blog made this quick fabric Harry Potter map canvas, which would be so fun for a family game room or a kid’s room!
Lorene has been behind the scenes here at Remodelaholic for more than a decade! She believes that planning projects and actually completing them are two different hobbies, but that doesn't stop her from planning at least a dozen projects at any given time. She spends her free time creating memories with her husband and 5 kids, traveling as far as she can afford, and partaking of books in any form available.
Thanks for the party!! ๐ Happy August!
Thanks, Kim!
Thank you so much for the feature! I love them all, but especially that Harry Potter canvas and the measuring cup holder. Amazing! I’ll be linking up soon!
